We’re Hiring: Experienced Corporate/Commercial Paralegal Are you a corporate paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves variety in your work and enjoys working as part of a team? Digby Leigh & Co. is a North Shore based law firm that is committed to practicing law differently. We are a smaller firm, which means everyone wears multiple hats – so flexibility and a team-first attitude are key. Here Is What We Are Looking For Experience: You’ve worked in corporate law for a while and know your way around everything from BC and Federal incorporations and registrations, purchases and sales of businesses to complicated reorganizations involving share freezes, exchanges, roll-overs and family trusts - and everything in between. Organizational Skills: High volume? No problem. You can keep track of all the moving pieces, including BF’s and billing, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. Communication: Communication isn’t just important, it’s everything. Whether its’s communicating with lawyers, clients or other team members, being responsive and proactive and knowing when to ask questions is a key part of success here. Adaptability: Things change fast and you are comfortable shifting gears without missing a beat. Team Player Mentality: We work collaboratively so you need to be someone who jumps in and helps out wherever needed and can work with a variety of different people and working styles. Attention to Detail: Because the little things matter, especially in corporate law. Why join us? We know you have options, so here’s why we think you will love being part of our team: Competitive Compensation & Benefits: We value the work you do and we show it with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including extended health care, dental, and more. Community Connection: We’re not just another law firm – we’re part of the North Shore community. Building relationships is at the core of what we do and we take pride in making an impact beyond the office. Tech & Innovation: We embrace technology to streamline processes and make your job easier. Professional Growth: Whether it’s expanding your skill set, taking on new challenges or growing within the firm, we support your goals. We offer a dynamic work environment, interesting projects and team that genuinely enjoys working together.
