Role Description The Corporate/Real Estate Paralegal is a full-time, on-site role based in Calgary, AB. This position supports lawyers with corporate and commercial matters, including preparing and organizing legal documents, maintaining corporate records, and assisting with regulatory filings. The Corporate Paralegal will conduct legal and factual research, review and summarize documents, and track filing deadlines and compliance requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities also include coordinating with clients and external parties, scheduling and managing transaction timelines, and supporting due diligence processes. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications 3 years experience in Indigenous Property and Corporate Law Bilingual in French and English Strong foundation in Law and corporate legal procedures, with experience supporting corporate or commercial files. Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting and formatting agreements, resolutions, minutes, and regulatory filings. Effective Communication skills for interacting with clients, lawyers, government bodies, and other stakeholders in a clear and professional manner. Advanced Research and Document Review skills to analyze legislation, case law, corporate records, and transaction documents. Bachelor's Degree from University AND a certificate in paralegal studies, legal assistant, or a related field; a university degree in a relevant discipline is an asset. Experience with corporate records management, entity formation, annual filings, and due diligence processes. High level of accuracy, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines under limited supervision. Proficiency with legal practice management software and Microsoft Office applications.
